The Wood Locker Quality Oak Gifts and Signs

Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions of sale carefully prior to purchasing from 'the wood locker'. Please note any purchase made or registration of personal details is deemed acceptance of these terms.


TERMS OF SALE: All prices are quoted in UK Sterling.
Prices exclude delivery costs which will be added at checkout (for sales and delivery outside the mainland UK please call us before ordering). We will not be liable for any export or import duties, taxes etc. arising as a result of the goods being sent to a non mainland UK destination, we may need to contact you for additional payment relating to higher courier charges abroad. Payment will be debited from your account at the time of purchase, or soon thereafter. We accept payment by, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa credit and debit cards and payments are securely processed by PayPal.


'the wood locker' will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure. Where we cannot be considered to have been negligent we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to the data you provide when accessing our site.

It is possible your order confirmation email could be misdirected as spam by incoming mail servers. Therefore, if you do not immediately receive an order confirmation email, please look in your junk folder. We are happy to send your order confirmation by alternative methods, please contact the wood locker on 07970 132997 or 01202 801289.


You may cancel your order at any time and receive a full refund so long as the item(s) have not been personalised.
We reserve the right to refuse the processing of a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.


All products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw products at any time and /or remove or edit content on 'the wood locker' website. Despite our very best efforts to ensure product information is current and correct, we cannot guarantee the absence of errors. If there is a clear error or omission in the product description, we will notify you as soon as possible and prior to dispatch of your order. The option of a full refund will be available to you if the corrected information when applied to your order no longer suits your requirements.


Product imagery is offered as good representation of the product but, for reasons beyond our control, we cannot be responsible for the colour accurateness of products viewed online or on printed media. Wood is a natural product with its own character and grain, striations and characteristics. Made to order / fully personalised products may differ slightly from product imagery and considered to be a result of the handmade nature of these products. Unless a personalised/bespoke product is found to be faulty we are unable to offer refunds on said orders. In the unusual situation of the product being faulty a replacement or refund will be available.


If stock is unavailable and your order cannot be fulfilled, 'the wood locker' will contact you as soon as possible with the option to claim a full refund or agree to wait until the product becomes available.


'the wood locker' Orders. Under normal circumstances your order should arrive within 3-5 days for standard items and 7-10 days for bespoke / personalised gifts. You will be advised of any delay or if the item is not available.


All our UK mainland deliveries are made via Royal Mail or Parcelforce and postal charges are based on their charges. Delivery to other areas will be sent via an international courier of equal service (Please contact us for a quote). Please note that all orders that we dispatch are sent recorded and will require signing for.


If you require delivery with full tracking, please select either 'Royal Mail Special Delivery' or 'Parcelforce 48'. Our shopping cart calculates postage based on the weight of your order. During the checkout process all of the options that we offer for delivery are available, please select the option that meets your requirements


Our first wish is you are delighted with your purchase so if for any reason you are unhappy with your product from 'the wood locker', please let us know within 48 hours of receipt by using our returns form or phone 07970132997 or 01202 801289. All items should be returned within 7 days of receipt in ‘as sold’ condition. Bespoke/personalised/made to order items may only be returned if they are found to be faulty. Where possible, we ask that a return is sent with the original packaging. 'the wood locker' is not responsible for return postage. Recorded signed for delivery is the required method of returning an item at the customers expense but please do contact 'the wood locker' prior to arranging this.


In the highly unlikely event of a parcel arriving with you damaged or faulty, you need to contact us within 48 hours of receipt on 07970 132997 or 01202 801289 or by email info@thewoodlocker.com. All items should be returned within 7 days of receipt. 'the wood locker' will offer you the opportunity to receive a replacement alternatively a full refund to your card, including the cost of return postage, will be given. Please use our returns system to receive returns instructions, we cannot accept returns that are not authorised. 


SECURITY & PRIVACY: ' the wood locker' respect your privacy and will treat all your personal information as confidential. It is important to us to promise not to sell, disclose or distribute information about you as an individual other than for the sole interest of administering your order and ensuring that we provide a first rate service to you. All information is stored securely and we respect the terms of the UK Data Protection Act 1998. Your credit card details are not stored with us or by us nor do we share ANY customer details with ANY 3rd parties.

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited other than personal and private non-commercial reference. To use, disturibute or commercially exploit the content of our website or other social media sites without our specific written permission is contrary to the terms of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
